Organizational Culture Change



It is about how to make change work this time and how can you bring about successful organizational change. 

You cannot do that by changing structures, procedures or creating statements etc. The only way you to bring about organizational change is helping people to change specific behaviors otherwise nothing will change in the organization as at all. 

The facilitating thing about change in an organizations is it's personal change, combined with collective change. And that is where "culture" comes in. Because the organizational culture is where we do things around, and we can change that by helping each other and utilizing the stickiness of culture. Because, people copy each other and coach, correct each other overtime in  organizations. 

If you can use that as the mechanism, people will start to change personally as well as together in groups. And that will help each other to benefit from the support which make great things to happen in an organization. 

But, we know we cannot change the others. So, the only way to bring about successful change is an inclusive approach. To engage everyone to this, all managers and employees should look together at their behaviors and should have a look at what happens.

    1. Yes.That is true. We know every company has a culture. There are many different types of corporate cultures.
      Some are natural and some are intention .
      organization culture starts with some total employees behaviors so we can segregated the company culture as you said above.

  2. Culture change depends on behavior and belief change. Members of the organization must clearly understand what is expected of them and how to actually do the new behaviors. Use training to communicate expectations and new behaviors. Mentoring will also help employees learn and change.
